9 Web designing trends expected to see in 2015

Every year, website designs are changing and many more changes are expected this year. Let us take a look at few web design trends that are expected to get popular-

1. Longer scrolling sites-
Looking into the increasing trend of mobile devices, many websites have started opting for scrolling instead of linking. It is easy for users to find information by simply scrolling through a page, instead of clicking on links to find information.

2. This method is not only applicable for homepages but for other pages as well like about us, product page and more.

3. Storytelling-
Web designs in 2015 focuses on providing an interactive story to users. Via means of content and design, businesses can electively demonstrate their viewpoint. Interactive animation is a plus point and adds a wow factor to a site, if done correctly.

4. Absence of large background imagery- Large header background images used to be a popular trend over the last few years. This used to be the first thing visitors see on a site. To show something unique to users, many sites have stopped the use of large background imagery. They have decided to keep their sites with large headers, but making them background-image free. This not only helps them be in the league of trend, but upgrade their sites speed and performance.

5. Remove non-essential design elements-
Earlier websites used to be embedded with heavy designs, images, and colors, but no longer more. Today, most websites have opted for clean and simple site design that comprises of elimination of all non-essential design elements.

6. Fix width site layout-
Earlier, sites used to have no fix width that allowed stretching of images and content to the full width of a browser’s viewport. However, today, fix-width trend seems to become popular. This allows them to keep their content centered in the viewport.

7. High quality custom photography-
High quality professional and customized photography have gained a front seat in designing these days. It makes site stand out from the crowd, as no one else would have those same pictures.

8. Slide out app like menus-
