In search engine optimization, we always hear the term, keywords. However, not many of us know the exact Dos and Don’ts about the keywords. Here are certain considerations that must be taken seriously, about keywords-

Research – In SEO, it is important to find right keywords. You need to find the perfect phrase that describes your website best. For this purpose, there are tools like Google AdWords on internet. In research tools, you can search about your business or services and choose the words and lines that are perfect.

Selection – In SEO, it is necessary that you choose the right words. It is important that you choose phrase that is related to your website. It is always beneficial to choose phrase that properly defines your products, services, or message. It can get you more organic traffic as well as good ranking on result pages. Wrong selection can divert your users to other web pages even if you are providing original content.

Density – After finding proper phrase, you need to use it wisely. It is important to use it in good numbers on website. Not less, not more, just enough. Many tools on internet are providing the facility to check density of keywords on a web page. Use these tools and get to know if you are doing it properly.

Placement – Finding right phrase does not mean that you can use it anywhere. Placing it properly in content or in right place is very important. It should be placed all in right locations. Forcefully adding keyword in content will do no good for your website. Words should be places smartly and relatively. Search engines like Google can easily see if your phrase is placed in relative content or not. If it is placed irrelevantly, it will discourage not only users but also your ranking.

If they are more popular, then analysis is done regarding their phrases, density, traffic etc. It helps in finding what you are missing effectively creating a chance of improvement. If they are lower in ranking, then analysis shows what you are doing right in SEO. It gives you another chance of improving what is already good.
